ORF SESSION

The Shinya Fujii Lab comprises two laboratories: the NeuroMusic Lab, which scientifically unravels the unknowns of music, and the x-Music Lab, which creates music yet unknown. Marking the 10th anniversary of Associate Professor Shinya Fujii's arrival at SFC, this session presents a decade of the lab's research and creative work through live performance and talks. Students and alumni take the stage, joined by Fujii himself on drums, presenting the lab's work across music, neuroscience, the body, information technology, and art not as explanation, but as sound in practice. Audiences will share where this pursuit of what music is stands now, and where it goes next.
