ORF SESSION

The Future of Space: Science, Technology, and Policy

As human missions to the Moon and Mars become a reality, how should we envision the future of the space industry? This session brings together experts in Science (interpreting planetary environments from exploration data), Technology (supporting lunar activities as depicted in Space Brothers), and Policy (driving international cooperation and social implementation). To venture into the unknown cosmos, three elements are essential: a map to understand the environment (Science), gear to protect life (Technology), and sustainable rules (Policy). Combining science, engineering, and social sciences, we explore how humanity can survive and thrive in harsh environments. From SFCs unique interdisciplinary perspective, we discuss the future of space exploration and the industry.
