Reflecting on Passing Down Memories in the 15th Year: The Great East Japan Earthquake and Fukushimas Hamadori Region
How can we pass on the memory of disaster to the future? What perspectives and questions are effective for building sustainable local communities? With the cooperation of Mr. Makino (Fukushima-bu), we have invited Ms. Yuka Kasai, a researcher specializing in reconstruction and community development and Mr. Motoki Izumida who works to connect Shonan and Fukushimato engage in a discussion with faculty members and SFC students interested in the transmission of memory. By bringing together diverse perspectives including those of researchers, practitioners, individuals directly affected by the disaster and so on.
