Research, Education, and Regional Collaboration at IAB
The Institute for Advanced Biosciences, Keio University (IAB), located at Tsuruoka Town Campus in Yamagata, advances research in bio-simulation, metabolomics, and protein-based materials. This exhibition introduces not only its scientific achievements but also its distinctive educational and community activities, including the Bio Camp for SFC students, programs for high school students, a long-term health study involving local residents, and collaboration with Yamagata University. Visitors will discover how research, education, industry, and regional partnership are integrated at Tsuruoka, an important satellite base of SFC.
