ORF EXHIBITION

This project involves researching and designing next-generation living arrangements in Hakodate, Hokkaidoa regional city in a snowy area. Rather than viewing the issues of vacant land and empty houses as a negative phenomenon of urban hollowing out, the project poses the question of what potential lies in low-density urban development, and the exhibition showcases the process of translating this into concrete designs for specific sites. We are exploring the potential of Hakodatea region blessed with a rich culinary heritage and offering the possibility of a dual-residence lifestyle with Tokyo, or as a stopover on the way to Nisekofrom an architectural perspective.
