Crossmodal Correspondence Cafe: How the Senses Create Deliciousness
Sound, words, appearance, touch, and other sensory cues can quietly shape how we experience food and drink. This interactive exhibition invites visitors into a cafe-like space designed through crossmodal correspondences, the hidden connections among our senses. Through a series of playful encounters, visitors will discover how the same experience can feel surprisingly different depending on the surrounding sensory context. Rather than explaining the mechanism in advance, the exhibition lets each visitor notice these effects firsthand and reflect on how deliciousness is created by the mind as well as by food itself.
