SFC x Theatre x Gender ~All the World’s a Stage~
Ishibuchi Kenkyukai, which began in AY 2024, was relaunched in AY 2026 as two separate research groups, each focusing on the themes of the body and gender, respectively. The former focuses primarily on theatre and musicals, with the aim of introducing participants to the research of arts and humanities. A key feature of this group is its theatre workshops, where participants deepen their understanding of works through hands-on experience of directing and acting. The latter group explores literary and artistic works from throughout history and across the globe from the perspectives of gender and feminism. We hope that through this exhibition, you will experience that literature and the arts are practical endeavours that engage deeply with society.
