Applied Art and Geometry
Geometry shapes the form of products. The Narukawa Laboratory explores this geometry and applies it to creative work in the fields of design and art. This academic year, the Narukawa Laboratory has been working on foldable furniture, large-scale playground equipment, sculptures featuring specialised structures, large tents, accommodation facilities for extreme environments, graphics using fluorescent paint, and omnidirectional video display technology. We will present four of these works at ORF.
