SFC Biodiversity Discovery Tour
At the Ichinose lab, we aim to enhance biodiversity on the SFC campus and promote nature-positive initiatives in the surrounding region through ecological surveys, habitat management, and sustainable resource use. The latter half of the fiscal year 2024 (Reiwa 6), SFC was officially registered as a Nationally Certified Sustainably Managed Natural Sites by Ministry of the Environment, recognizing the campus ecological significance. This designation has further energized our efforts to deepen our research and contribute to the local environment. In this tour, step outside the classroom and explore SFC through the eyes of its creatures from tiny insects to familiar birds. Discover a new perspective on campus life with nature and creature.
