Unearthing Regional Charms and Sharing Them in New Ways (Fujiyoshida City Iba Laboratory)

Fujiyoshida City, located at the foot of Mt. FujiIba Laboratory is currently engaged in a collaborative research project aimed at uncovering new ways to enjoy this unique region and sharing them through innovative forms of expression. In this session, we will introduce our 2024 initiative in which we co-created a Style Language for Enjoying Fujiyoshida based on workshops held with local residents. We will also present our ongoing efforts this year to develop a new method for conveying those styles through narrative works such as manga, anime, and novels. We warmly invite local government officials and those involved in regional revitalization and community design to join us!
