Zine and Fieldwork
The Fumitoshi Kato Laboratory (fklab) is focused on the theme of 'communication that returns to the community.' We believe that when engaging with people's lives through fieldwork and interviews, the findings should not only be published as articles or books within an academic framework but also shared with the individuals who participated in the research. To achieve this, we are actively exploring how to effectively present our results and what types of media to use. In this exhibition, we will reconsider the role of social research in communication by taking a comprehensive look at the zines and booklets we have created thus far.
