EVENT LIST

Microbial Genomics / Environmental Bioinformatics Seminar Haruo Suzuki

The Microbial Genomics and Environmental Bioinformatics Group of the Advanced Biosciences Seminar aims to uncover the diversity and evolution of microorganisms invisible to the naked eye by utilizing computational and DNA sequence data analysis techniques. Students in the group conduct research on microbiomes found in urban and built environments, pathogenic bacteria with antimicrobial resistance (such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), and mobile genetic elements including plasmids and viruses.
