Seamless connection transition system for P2P online conferences
In online meetings, when participants change networks, such as moving from home Wi-Fi to cellular data, the resulting change in IP address can interrupt the connection and negatively affect communication quality. This issue is especially serious in meeting tools that use peer-to-peer (P2P) communication, where the reconnection process is complex and often causes long disruptions. In this study, we propose a method for P2P-based online meetings that temporarily switches the connection to a relay server when an IP address change is detected. This approach significantly reduces the duration of connection interruptions compared to existing methods.
