EVENT LIST

Urban Fabrication Lab

The Hiroya Tanaka Laboratory is marking a significant milestone this year as it celebrates its 20th anniversary and advances into new research domains. Building upon the accumulated technological developments pursued through engineering approaches, we are now incorporating the essence of recently emerged design philosophies such as Transition Design to engage in creating products that generate desirable changes for communities in the medium to long term. Through presentations of student projects undertaken in the laboratory, this exhibition invites visitors to explore together our laboratory's unique design framework called 'Urban Fabrication' that is being developed collectively by the entire seminar.
