Our Laboratory is concerned with sports biomechanics and sports engineering, which are disciplines that support sports athletes. The former is the area of clarifying the skills of athletes through mathematical modelling and measurement, while the latter is concerned with the development of equipment and measurement techniques to support athletes. Our labo has produced Olympians for the past three Games in London, Rio de Janeiro and Paris. The following is an account of how these Olympians, who used their own bodies as their subject matter, trained their bodies and mastered their skills, have achieved both literary and military success at SFC.
