One-day Youth-Clinic/The benefits and possibilities of Youth-Clinics to improve awareness of sexual taboos in Japan.

Our Lab researches the history of the 'modern family' and its impact. This project focuses in particular on the taboo and disregard for 'sex' in Japan, and will include an exhibition and public experimentation on the Youth Clinic. Youth Clinics are facilities of Scandinavian origin where young people in their teens and twenties can discuss their concerns about sex with themselves and their partners in an environment where their privacy is protected. Through the project, we will explore the benefits, challenges and feasibility of youth clinics as a place to improve the taboo awareness of sex in Japan and to solve the sexual problems of young people.
