For 30 years since the SFC was established in 1990, the SFC has promoted research and education by utilizing the Internet in an advanced campus environment. However, technological innovation continues to advance, making it difficult to maintain the cutting-edge nature of the current SFC. This consortium will return to the concept of SFC's establishment and conduct research into next-generation campus information infrastructures. It will build an information infrastructure that integrates physical and virtual spaces and a digital twin campus, and will work on research into 5G/6G technology, sensors and image recognition.
