This exhibit showcases projects from the Critical Urban Studies Lab. Focusing on public spaces where people informally gather within and around SFC, it explores how urban design elements such as furniture, open spaces, art objects, and natural elements can enhance social interactions and the attractiveness of public areas. Aligned with the ORF2024 theme, The Landscape of SFC - Cultivate The Land, this exhibit engages the community through rethinking nature, art, and public spaces. It explores the introduction of art into landscape and public spaces, thus enriching the lives of residents and visitors, and fostering a deeper appreciation for the environment and community. This demonstrates how artistic interventions can transform spaces and strengthen community engagement.
