Institute for Advanced Bioscience (IAB) is a town campus of Keio University established in 2001, and is one of the satellite campuses of SFC. This institute is at the forefront of life science, and has made notable research achievements in the fields of biosimulation, metabolome analysis technology that comprehensively and quantitatively measures intracellular metabolic substances, and protein materials. Based on this world-class basic research, nine venture companies have been spun out so far.
