Seeing of Essence is a method to grasp the essence of things. It was proposed by the philosopher Edmund Husserl as a fundamental method in phenomenology. In this session, we will present a pattern language for practicing Seeing of Essence developed by Iba Lab this year. We will also discuss cases of Seeing of Essence in creative activities, philosophical dialogues, and high school education. We invite those who wish to grasp the essence of things and those who seek to engage more fundamentally in education, work, creativity, life, and society to join us.
