Hiroya Tanaka's laboratory (Urban Fabrication Lab) conducts research in a building called Z (Zeta) in the woods, off the main campus of SFC. We have several machine tools, and as a workshop-type laboratory, we are always doing manufacturing. At ORF, we open the environment of our laboratory to the public, and at the same time publish the products we are creating and its surrondings in which they are born.
