Ohgi Laboratory supports sports from two perspectives: science and engineering. From a scientific perspective, we aim to improve the performance of athletes by mathematically elucidating their skill. From an engineering perspective, we develop equipment to support athletes and conduct quantitative evaluations of the developed equipment. Kinematic measurement is essential for quantifying sports skills and for evaluating the performance of sports equipment. In this exhibition, we will demonstrate motion capture, which our laboratory is working on.
