For people to live healthy and happy lives, not only medical and biological factors, but also various factors such as social environment, connections with other people, and the community to which one belongs have a great deal to do with it. Two of the projects of the Institute for Advanced Biosciences in Tsuruoka, Karada-kan and Tsuruoka Metabolome Cohort Study, which have been working together with residents to realize wellbeing, will present their findings.
