Arab Culture Lab conducts various activities to bridge the gap between Japanese and Arab societies. At this year's ORF, we will present an exhibit focusing on the Arab community in the area surrounding SFC. Arabs and Muslims are often thought of as being geographically and psychologically remote, but in fact, there is a growing number of people with such backgrounds in the areas surrounding SFC. In this exhibition, we would like to provide an opportunity to think about diversity and coexistence in SFC and its surrounding areas through interviews with such people and surveys of their familiar places such as mosques and food stores.
